About

The Stevens Point Area YMCA has been learning and growing with area families for more than 50 years. Understanding the trials that today’s families face, the YMCA works to support individuals through life’s hurdles and embrace their dreams.

The YMCA believes that all families—regardless of culture, ethnicity, or socio-economic background—share a common hope: to provide a better future for their children. The Y helps parents and families realize this dream by nurturing the full potential of children and teens, promoting health and well-being, and inspiring individuals to support their neighbors and the greater community.

At its core, the YMCA is about changing lives for the better, fostering connections, and strengthening the community.
